"Then God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: 'The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.'"

As I was standing before the Caribbean Ocean for the first time late one evening in 2008, the vastness, sheer power, the sound of the waves rushing toward me, I cried as I felt the presence of God cover me, His vastness, His power, His love, how He comes to us, His love rushing in. It was a moment that is still fresh, I'll never forget it. As the memory came to me ten years later, I was inspired to paint the beauty of that moment.
