Orchids are one of my favorite flowers. The blooms are exotic and very beautiful for weeks. Once the blooms fall, the plant goes dormant for four months, sometimes longer. I find it hard to patiently wait for the next blooming cycle so have an ever-growing collection!
The Lord continues to speak to me about the blooming process. As I worshipped Sunday afternoon to a new song, In Your Time (Worship Mob / Original by Colton May & Aaron McClain) during the main lyrics "You make all things beautiful in Your time",
I suddenly saw a beautiful orchid in full bloom...was not thinking of flowers as I worshipped!
I knew He was speaking of patience and the maturing process...it takes time. Every season is different for each of us depending upon what He is teaching us. Draw near to Him in the secret place and ask Him to show you truth, show you His heart and He will. Then trust and obey Him and the time to bloom will surely come. "He has made everything beautiful in it's time" and chose orchid blooms to highlight His Word and the blooming process to me and now to you. He knows how to get our attention and is always faithful to perform His Word!
He has made everything beautiful in it's time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
