Our church connect group is currently in a Bible study by Greg Laurie, "Tell Someone", which is very good. This is the second time for me to do this study and I highly recommend it.

I've been preparing for an upcoming womens retreat where I'll have the opportunity to lead art in painting with the Holy Spirit. As I sat with the Lord asking Him what we should paint, He gave me a picture of a lit candle stick with the world behind it. He continues to speak about our identies as light bearers, Matthew 5:16, "You are the light of the world" and Matthew 28:19, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. GO therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”.

As a part of this Bible study, I'll be keeping a journal and have committed to being a very intentional light bearer everywhere I go. I pray you'll join me!

-In this painting, the lit candlestick represents the children of God.

-The collaged scripture on the candle is Matthew 5:16 which tells us we are His light bearers.

-The lights coming from the candle's flame represent the seeds we plant as we go out to share the gospel message.

-The flowers coming out from the word on the candlestick represent new life.

-The butterfly represents transformation. As we go and share the gospel message, Jesus Christ, the Word begins the transformation process in each heart.

-The light on the top of the world represents the washing of the word, the flow of Holy Spirit and prayers for revival.
