We can all draw close to Him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into His very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (TPT)
During the early morning hours of April 23, 2021 the Lord gave me a dream/picture. I was looking into a deep well and saw a beautiful red rose that appeared to be floating on a mirror and I could sense His presence. In my spirit I heard "reflection" and then I woke.
I believe the Holy Spirit was speaking to me about keeping my eyes on Jesus, meditating on His Word...the transformation that is taking place within me and all who are seeking greater intimacy with Him. We have greater intimacy with Him when we spend time with Him in His Word. He alone knows our hearts and wants to first deliver us... set us free and heal us. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, our teacher and causes us to remember all He says. Our part is to read, meditate and study. As we do, a supernatural transformation begins to take place within our hearts and minds. He writes His Word (Truth) upon our hearts. As we continue seeking Him we're transformed into His likeness, from glory to glory.
Intimacy with Jesus, reading and speaking His Word, truly heals our hearts and sets us free.
As I've began spending more time in His Word, not just reading with a devotional and quickly going about my day, but spending time alone with Him reading out loud, I'm experiencing His presence in a whole new way. I'm hearing His voice in my spirit more clearly. He is loving, trustworthy, faithful, kind, compassionate, patient, merciful, forgiving and so much more. As a result, the voice of the enemy, his deception, is much easier to recognize. I have more peace, my prayer life is changing and growing. His life within me is growing, my old patterns of thinking and way of doing things (focused on self)...are passing away. As we mature in Him, our lives reflect all that He is to those around us, to the world, we become living testimonies.
In this piece, Reflecting Glory, the rose represents Jesus. The well also represents Jesus - His Word - the true life, prosperity and abundance (deliverance, healing, blessing and peace) His Word brings when we are totally surrendered to Him and living in obedience to His Word.
Dear Lord,
Transform our lives into wells overflowing with living water as we seek more and more of Your presence and intimate friendship with You in Your Word. All glory, blessing and honor to You Lord!
In Jesus' name, Amen
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV)
But whosoever drinks of the water I give him will never thirst; but the water I give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:14
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

Wow Toni I know exactly what you mean. We are awaking to more of Him, through His Word, through fellowship with others in Him, and listening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I am so grateful for Jesus and am so happy to know you and read your blogs and see your beautiful artwork. This painting is amazing. I love how you depicted it. (Curious... did you use gold leaf?)
