Be Lifted Up / 2023

Updated: May 16, 2023

When your heart is broken and all you know is pain, when you're lonely, tired and life seems to be too much, there is hope. The word of God is full of promises and one of those promises is found in the Book of Psalms, Psalm 40:2-3.

"He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth - Praise to our God; many will see it and fear it and will trust in the Lord.

After many years of trying to control all the details of my life, it all fell apart and there was absolutely nothing I could do but pray. Anxiety made it almost impossible for me to still my mind long enough to do it but I had no other options. I began to pray the best way I knew how and didn't stop. In the midst of great chaos I began to experience His peace - unexplainable peace - His presence. This gave me hope. As time passed and I walked through that storm, my faith grew and I discovered how incredibly faithful, kind and gentle He is. I learned to trust Him and He began to point me to His word, and many more promises. He brought people into my life to help me manage the circumstances His way. He brought friends into my life that pointed me over and over again to His word and the supernatural power that is released into your life as you read, listen and pray it. I learned to declare it over every area of my life over time, and now live in a new reality...freedom, healing, joy and friendship with Him. He lifted me up, out of the miry clay and set my feet upon a Rock - He is that Rock. He has put a new song in my mouth and worship and praise is as natural as breathing. He will do the same for you, please don't wait...will you call upon Him today?

He will keep you standing in a safe, stable and secure place in Him. This painting is my prayer for you, Psalm 40: 2-3.

Be lifted up!
