For months I prayed for more of God...eyes to see, ears to hear more, greater understanding, clarity, questioning if I was somehow off track. Then the Holy Spirit brought the transformation process to mind again...a life long process that we cannot do on our own. It takes the supernatural work of God as we cooperate with Him by resisting the world system and choosing to read, listen, speak, meditate and apply His Word.
So as pondered where I was at in the process, the collage piece, "Be Transformed" began to take shape quickly.
As "Be Transformed" was nearing completion, I was greatly encouraged with how the Holy Spirit had flowed in the creative process by bringing each part of the painting together and in that moment of encouragement, the Holy Spirit brought the next painting to mind,
"Be Lifted Up", which reminded me of just how far He had brought me. "Be Lifted Up" also came together quickly and all I could do was smile and thank Him again for making a way for me when there seemed to be no way.
Yes, it was a painful time back in 2014 but He miraculously met every need right on time and continues too. He's in the details! I needed a home, He quickly provided one that I loved and could afford. When I lost my job six months later and needed to lease my home, a friend immediately leased it upon learning of my plans. I lived with a loved one for awhile to take some quiet time to seek Him for peace, direction and a new job. I read His Word and several other very good books He put in front of me during that time of rest. I continued to pray and ask Him to provide a job for me with a lighter stress load and within two months I had a job offer, again, from a friend that I had previously worked with who called to see if I would be interested in coming to work for her! I had not been in touch with her. EVERY step of the way, He provided, He is always faithful, will never leave us or forsake us, just as His Word says.
Shortly "Be Lifted Up' was completed, I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit what He wanted me to create next. I was on the phone with a loved one, who is like a daughter to me who needed encouragement in her new walk with the Lord regarding relationships. As we were talking and I was about to open my mouth speak and encourage her, the Holy Spirit spoke yet again, but this time through me and said, "Just be the light". Amazing.
This is "Be the Light".
Thank You Lord for Your Word, Your promises, Your faithfulness, Your light. In Jesus' name, Amen.
