Twice recently the Lord has spoken to me about blooming. First on February 19th in the early morning hours just before waking I heard the word “Bloom” softly spoken. Then on the 27th, again in the early morning hours He gave me a picture of two tulips that were slightly nestled along the bushes in front of our home, one was in full bloom and the other was budding. I believe He’s speaking to me personally about growing and maturing in Him and spending more hours devoted to Him, painting and writing as He leads me...with no hesitation. Eyes on Him, fully focused, no distractions. I sense the shift already!
What does blooming mean to you? Is God calling you to do something that you’ve avoided or for whatever reason have been unable to fully step into? Have you been through a season of slow preparation? A season of separation from relationships, a job, a move? Let Him do what He wants to do, take you where He wants to go. I pray you will join me in submitting to Him fully, His Word, by simply saying YES every day and trusting Him to instruct you in the way you should go. No matter who you are or what stage of growth you’re in with Him, if you say YES, and seek Him daily in the secret place, you will GROW and BLOOM in His perfect timing and your life will become a testimony of His grace, loving kindness and faithfulness.
“The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God.” Psalm 92:12-13
“I will be like a dew to the people of Israel. They will blossom like flowers. They will be firmly rooted like cedars from Lebanon.” Hosea 14:5
In days to come, Jacob will take root. Israel will blossom and bud and fill the whole world with fruit. Isaiah 27:6
