This piece is about being still, pushing past all the noise and distractions of life and seeking intimate friendship with God more consistently. It's about thanking Him in prayer, praise and worship for His faithfulness, for coming through for me and delivering me from things I didn't even know I needed to be delivered of. It's about giving the love back to Him...standing in the gap DAILY and praying, warring like never before for the salvation of our children, loved ones, the lost, for peace and salvation in the streets of Jeruselem, for America and the nations.
It's about saying yes to Him, heeding the call to COME UP HIGHER and then experiencing His presence, His pleasure, His smile.
Joy in the Process
She is in her favorite quiet place, worshipping, praising and thanking her heavenly Father. He has promised in His word that all she has to do is seek Him with all of her heart and she will find Him. Then if she will build her life upon Him, the Rock, her sure foundation…He will take her higher and higher and reveal more of Himself to her.
The orange/gold/pink colors…are inspired by The Grand Canyon, a desire to look up…see the stars at night…the vastness of His amazing creation.
Her books are stacked high and make a nice side table next to her favorite chair.
She is reading the word and the Holy Spirit is by her side teaching and counseling her. The quirky vase holds one of her favorite flowers, tulips.
