As I’ve continued to seek God in prayer for a loved one for years, He recently convicted me of unbelief.  I had surrendered this loved one to Him repeatedly in confidence but each time an anxious phone call with a negative report came, I would again struggle with fearful thoughts and not recognize it right away.  Fear is not trusting God which is unbelief.  Although the fear wasn’t as overwhelming as it had been previously, it was still fear.  I knew this was a thought pattern that needed to be addressed with more time in His word but had been focusing primarily on faith.  Fear is one of the enemy’s favorite weapons to use against us which controls and distracts us in every area of our lives, including our time in the secret place.

The scriptures the Lord highlighted to me as I spent time with Him and painted this painting was Mark 9:23 and Jeremiah 32:27.

Jesus said unto him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. (Mark 9:23)

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?  (Jeremiah 32:27)

This painting is what my heart and your heart looks like healed; no fear, only head over hills love for our Lord and Savior, unshakable faith, trust, belief.  The woman and Jesus are best friends.  He has given her a rose and their hearts have merged in intimacy.  She hears His voice clearly and there is uninterrupted flow between them.  He is sharing deeper secrets with her as He touches a golden star in the heavens that represents His power, His peace, His majesty...He is Lord of all.

The golden star also represents greater anointing.  Her heart is healed, she is free in Him.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

(Romans 10:17)

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  (Hebrews 11:1)

“When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”

 (Psalm 94:19)

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

(Isaiah 41:10)

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

(Philippians 4:6-7)
